This product is as good as it gets. Water, organic oats and a little bit of sea salt for flavor. That’s it. Then this product is packaged in a process that allows it to be stored without refrigeration. That means you can take it to the summer cottage and store it in the hall and then pop it into the fridge to chill before using. If you are familiar with our other products we recommend that you try this one. It has the potential to win some shelf space in your home.WHAT’S AMAZINGIt’s all in the oats. 100% organic oats that are grown in clean soil and spend the summer getting rained on to grow strong. It’s vegan approved, contains no added sugar whatsoever and is full of that big scientific word betaglucans* which are great for your heart.WHAT MIGHT BE LESS AMAZINGIf you are the kind of consumer who pays a lot of attention to the details, you might compare the back of all of our packages and come up with a theory that this particular product doesn’t have all the vitamins and extra calcium that our enriched products do. Of course it doesn’t. We are not allowed to enrich an organic product and still label it organic but if you think about it you can also choose an enriched product if that is more important for you.LAST BUT NOT LEASTStore unopened packages in room temperature. Once opened, keep cool at max 8º C. If the sun is shining outside, you should get out there and enjoy it.* Betaglucans are good for the heart. As a part of a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle, they contribute to maintaining normal cholesterol levels in your blood. One 250 ml glass of Oatly provides a third (1 g) of the daily requirement of betaglucan. We promise to be a good a company. We are not a perfect company, not even close, but our intentions are true. We would like to be judged by the good we do and not just the pretty words we say. Our goal is to deliver products that provide real nutritional value and minimal environmental impact which is why everything we make is based on oats. We promise that making products that help people upgrade their lives will always come before the reckless pursuit of profit. We aim to produce the most responsible products possible and are working to make the food industry a more honest place by declaring to be transparent in everything we do. Lastly, we are not usually this serious on our packages and promise not to make it a habit.Organic Oat Drink, Organic, Wow no cow!, It’s Swedish!, 100% cool for vegans, Free from lactose, milk protein and soya, Unsurprisingly contains oats, Climate footprint: 0.37 kg CO2e per kgThe Boring (But Very Important) SideIf this side bores you, please read no further. Flip the carton around and have a wonderful day. Otherwise, please do enjoy.Nothing is as crazy as it used to be.Back in the day, when you wanted to get things going with your crew, you pulled out a bottle and spun it for cheap thrills like the truth or dare teenage legends you were. Today, everyone is on their phones all day watching people dance on youtube. But that’s okay, because you can’t stop progress and it is progressive to think that the same individuals who watch people dance on their phones all day, also know that to create change and get us on a path to a more sustainable future, you have to let go of the concept of “that is how things are done”. Which brings up to the last sentence and the realization that we never made it to the part about oat drink but at least you got the secret code to deciphering the future without even asking for it.Bring back the pearA few of us around the office have been talking about how we could bring back an Oatly classic - Pear Oat Drink. Remember the green colour of the carton? It was lighter than spinach and darker than I don’t know what, something light green. Anyway, for a select minority, this fruity masterpiece was our all-time favourite - pear juice and oat drink in perfect unison. But for everyone else it was your absolute non-favorite. In fact, it was our worst selling product of all-time. Which is exactly why we should bring it back. To prove that we are not really interested in sales, and so that everyone who hated it the first time around can hate it again. Let us know what you really think of this idea by marking a box below.
