Morettini This exquisite Pear is a classic pyriform, with a short neck, it is a medium size yellow pear often showing a beautiful slight red blush. It has a very clean, smooth peel, with a white juicy yet aromatic flesh which offers the best eating experience when soft. Its mild but slightly tart background flavours work well combined with many varieties of cheese, so works well with any cheese board, or as an accompaniment to any salad. Dating back to the mid 1950’s in Florence, Italy, it is a cross between a Coscia and Williams pear which is enjoyed and favoured by many.
